4-Day Masai Mara And Nakuru Medium Group Safari

Day 1

Nairobi – Masai Mara

The driver meets you at your preferred hotel in Nairobi between 7.30am and 8.30am (depending on your location) and after a short introduction and safari briefing, you will immediately drive to Masai Mara. You may stop shortly for scenery viewing at the scenic Great Rift Valley view point for a view of the escarpment and a photo session. Proceed to Narok Town where you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards proceed to the camp for check in before you enter the park for an evening game drive. This gives you an opportunity to spot the big five animals as well as many other animals which include cheetah, hyena, giraffe, warthog, gazelle, wildebeest and others. After the game drive, you are driven back to the camp rest and dinner.

Day 2

Masai Mara Game Drives

Early breakfast then proceed for a morning game drive to see the park when most active and for a good opportunity to spot the big five animals. You will carry packed picnic lunch to eat during game drives so as to prevent disruption of game drives. After picnic lunch you will proceed with afternoon game drive to explore the new 8th wonder of the world for a chance to take amazing photographs. If lucky you might see an adrenaline filled cheetah hunt in the open plains of the Masai Mara. After the game drives you will transfer back to accommodation for dinner and rest.

Day 3

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Early breakfast is followed by a final morning game drive in Masai Mara to see the park as well as also spot some early risers; afterwards exit from the park for a drive to Nakuru City with a lunch stop at Narok town. Arrive at Nakuru City in the evening and transfer to your hotel for rest as you wait for dinner to be served.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru Game Drive then Return to Nairobi

Early breakfast is followed by check out from the hotel, and enter the park for a morning game drive. Lake Nakuru is very scenic in the morning and is one of the well-established rhino sanctuaries in East Africa. Animals and birds that are easy to spot include pelican, stork, white rhino, buffalo, giraffe, warthog and others. The number of flamingos in the Lake has significantly reduced due to high water levels as a result of heavy rains. However, the park still has still maintained its natural beauty because it is home to many animal species and one of the best parks to spot the leopard hunting. After the game drives, you will exit from the park and drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route arriving in the evening. On arrival, you are transferred to our preferred hotel within Nairobi.
